My humble abode

My mom's house is small but it's a home, filled with love and smiles and delicious meals together.Every night the three of us place the small Korean style kitchen table on her bed and enjoy a nice warm home-cooked meal. It's always delicious!!
I thought I'd be able to loose weight quite easily here but I think the opposite might just happen
A peak from the kitchen
Dried seaweed -- anyone back home ever imagine I'd be eating this?

My daughter loves 김. Whenever we go to a Korean restaurant we have to bring along our own 김.

It's great that you are having such a great experience living with your mother-in-law. I am not sure if you blogged about it, but why did you guys decide to move in with her? It's funny because I was itching to move out of the upstairs apartment at my in-laws. Both hubby and I are much happier this way..... it's great that all is working out :)

It looks like you've lost weight already, haven't you? At least over the last few months? And how about more photos of the house?!

I take it any kind of nightly spice has been kicked out to the curb with you two living with the mother. Oh god, may god help you. Why on Earth would you ever give up your independence and strength as a woman, as a wife, and become a child again?
I use to envy you but not no more.

SORRY TOO MANY SPELLING MISTAKES IN THE LAST POST. I JUST DELETED IT AND DECIDED TO RE-READ BEFORE I HIT PUBLISH

Hey Helena, I love kim too. That's funny you have to bring it to a restaurant. I bet people are wondering what she is eating.

Hey Shelley, how is your new place? I bet you feel relieved now that you are a bit further away. I'm living with my M.I.L for a number of reasons. I'll have to write about it for my next post.

Hey anony, actually I have no clue if I've lost weight since my scale just recently broke. But I feel the same. I'll post more house pics in my next post.

Hey Mel and Tuvet, gotta convert Sung Hyun before he actually gets to Canada. That was a Christmas present from my Auntie and Uncle last year.

Hey Charlene, yes I would have to say at first glance not a lot of ppl would envy my current living situation. And my friends call me crazy when they realize that it was my choice to live with my M.I.L. But I'm making the most out of the situation as I know it's just temporarily and for variety of good reasons. And I can honestly say that I like it. But who knows how I'll feel in another month. hehe!

Thanks for the support eveyone!

Oh, Charlene, Charlene. You DO know that Jennifer lives in Korea AKA Land of Love Motels, right? Are you really so lacking in creativity that you think the house is the only place one can have sex?
